Sallie McLaurin, born 1992 and raised in Midwest City, Oklahoma. She was a three time All-American middle hitter for the University of Oklahoma during the 2010-2013 seasons. Not only did she excel on the court but also in the classroom, she was titled First team Academic All-American in 2013 with a major in Health and Exercise Science. Sallie was an intern with FCA volleyball during the summer of 2013. As an intern, she grew into knowing her identity and understanding how God views her and the impact that she could have on the lives around her. During her final season with Oklahoma she mentored four girls, started a bible study, and spoke at many churches and other FCA events. Sallie moved to Huntington Beach in September 2014 to join the FCA staff. She is continuing to coach local volleyballs teams, while planning retreats and mentoring college athletes.
